Bombshelter
Michael and I went to the fancy new south campus eatery today. It’s been a heap of construction for two years and during our orientation to UCLA, the tour guides told us it was used as a bombshelter during World War 2. They lied. The only thing its sheltering is my easy access to a daily dose of Dr P.

Pistachio
Spent the day at the Getty with Jenni & Michael. The weather has been beautiful in Los Angeles and hopping off the tram at the Getty made us feel like we had emerged in some gorgeous villa in the Mediterranean. After taking some photos for this blog, the Brandy blog & our own personal collections, we bunkered down to study at a table overlooking the Pacific Ocean. If you go with a fully charged laptop, it can be one of the best study spots this side of the Mississippi(or downtown LA at least). Or if you go with a date, you can split a bottle of wine and watch the sunset.
Right now there’s a huge endeavor in the art world called Pacific Standard Time. It includes art, curated artifacts, and photography all in the theme of California Modern Art, Architecture & Design. It’s basically a look(through many lenses) at the California our parents and grandparents grew up in. The Getty was shock full of PST exhibits. You should go. It’s great.

Weekend trip to Vegas with (most of) my friends! Gabby, Antonia, Emma (purewildanimalcraziness.tumblr.com) and Nina(ninadelmundo.tumblr.com) all turned 21 within the last month and it was time to pounce. Basically we were all rock stars up and down the strip not paying for anything and surpassing lines and being bona fide bad ass bitches. Till next time.
